This is the procedure that must be followed for switching over to the Next yr:
Post a thread for your next year roster with every player under salary listed. I suggest leaving up the old thread as well so you don't lose your old stuff just yet. Minor league players can remain as they are assuming they are not under salary.
Some things to remember:
-Players entering years (4) through (6) have salaries according to the scale as set in the rules. Please see scale calculation rules as well as scale progression rules (e.g. under which circumstances a player advances under the scale, and under which he does not). Remember, though, that the salary cannot totally be confirmed until the real MLB season ends (since it depends on statistics accrued through the entire year)

-Any player contracts or options that may be picked up do not need to be decided until December 1st at the latest. Do not decline contracts or options until the freeze is unfrozen.
-Similarly, do not waive any players until the freeze is unfrozen. Leave everyone on your roster.
-Somewhere in the thread, denote every player lost to free agency. Again, this does NOT include players whose options you are declining. This part is only for players who you cannot retain at all.
-Once you have finished your roster, ask your Mod to check it over for you.
-After everything has been set, your divisional roster checker will send Max a PM with his approval for your roster. I will discuss the carry-over process from here with Max, but this is not something that concerns most of the league.
Once EVERY TEAM has been checked and approved, the transaction freeze will be lifted.
Teams out of the playoffs can and should begin this process on Monday, September 5th. It will take a while with so many rosters to check and transfer, but with everyone's cooperation it can go very smoothly and we can have the league running again sooner rather than later. Playoff teams, please begin this process once eliminated.
If we missed anything, let us know. Thank you!
