I accept. Webb has been an anchor for me since calling him up all those years ago. However with my team looking like it needs a fresh start, it was time to move on from him. I will add to my farm and try to bring up some more players closer to my competitive window.

I’m going to abstain because I believe in letting owners run their teams. But I think this deal is pretty brutal value. Webb is a (5), so he’s got another year of guaranteed control. And with our RFA system, he’s controllable for much longer with a large discount for NYM. Additionally, our Comp system means if Webb is himself, NYM could let him walk after 2025 and get at least a late 2nd if not a late 1st (either of which replace a pick in this deal)

Webb should go for a high level prospect as a centerpiece with picks like this as supplemental pieces

Vetoing in this league is weird and trade discussion threads are never used. There's no manipulation here even though I think he's underselling Webb. If the dude wants 2024 FYPD picks that's what he's getting. Unless Mets was stoned out of his mind when he made this trade he is clearly coveting draft picks, even if next year picks might be better he wants them now. Webb been a top-30 pitcher in our league this year so far and is expensive enough. Good enough, wouldn't call it egregious, I've seen worse.
