A big thank you to all who voted on the 2017 MCD Awards. Here are your winners! The number is the total number of points (5 points for first, 1 for fifth, except for awards where only 3 on the ballot, then it is 3 for first) and the parentheses is the number of first place votes, which is also the tiebreaker if two players/GMs are tied in points.

Some interesting facts about this year's award voting:
-- This is Giancarlo Stanton's second MCD MVP award (2014, 2017) and he joins Mike Trout (2014, 2016) as not only the sole two players to win two MVPs, but also to win an MVP in each league (Stanton with St. Louis and Detroit, Trout with Baltimore (New York at the time) and Arizona)
-- Last year, we had our first co-winners of an award when Jeff (HOU) and Alex (WAS) shared NL GM of the Year honors. This year, our first co-winners of an award for players is the AL Cy Young, shared by Corey Kluber and Chris Sale
-- This is the second consecutive season a player on the Angels takes home a share of AL Cy Young honors, after Kyle Hendricks won the award last year
-- Aaron Judge joins both of last year's ROY winners (Corey Seager and Trevor Story) as the only unanimous award winners in MCD history
-- Judge's win also allowed the Nationals to join the Tigers as the only two teams with two ROY winners (Xander Bogaerts and Corey Seager for DET, Noah Syndergaard and Judge for WAS) in MCD history. The Nationals also join another elite group of teams to win an award twice: the Tigers (ROY), the Orioles (MVP), the Angels (Cy Young), the Diamondbacks (Cy Young), and the Dodgers (Cy Young). The Nationals, however, are the only team to win two awards twice (ROY and GMOY)
-- Alex (WAS) winning the NL GM of the Year award continues a tradition of back-to-back winners: Jason (ARZ) won the award in 2014 and 2015 and Alex (WAS) has now earned a share of the trophy in 2016 and 2017, his two championship seasons
-- The previous three AL GM of the Year owners all failed to make the playoffs in the ensuing seasons. Alex (LAA) better watch out! Too early to call it a curse?
-- With Giancarlo Stanton and Corey Kluber winning AL MVP and AL Cy Young, respectively, Detroit becomes the first team in MCD history to sweep the two major awards in a single season
-- Also as a result of the Stanton and Kluber victories, Detroit becomes the first team in MCD history to have a winner of all 4 awards (2017 MVP (Stanton), 2017 Cy Young (Kluber), 2014 and 2016 ROY (Xander Bogaerts and Corey Seager), and 2015 GMOY (Max)). Hot on Detroit's heels are Arizona (only needs ROY) and Washington (only need Cy Young)
